We fund the mental health and addictions care available to Nova Scotians in our hospitals, through community and mobile clinics, and virtually - online and by phone. We also work with healthcare and community partners to promote wellbeing and build healthy, resilient communities.
We provide crisis services, including our mental health crisis line (toll-free: 1-888-429-8167), which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A new campaign is helping break down the stigma that prevents men from talking about their mental health and reaching out for help. There are resources and supports out there, including ones you can access from home and others in your community. It’s ok to ask for help.
